PAAR’s volunteers make a difference in the lives of victims and our community.
Volunteers help victims and PAAR in the following ways:
•Support victims via our 24-hour crisis Helpline
•Represent PAAR and provide educational programs to community groups
•Be an in-person advocate by providing support to victims seeking help in local emergency departments
• Assist with administrative functions
Here is what one Volunteer wanted to share about their experience Volunteering with PAAR:
“I serve on the crisis helpline. It’s confidential, 24/7. The Helpline is available to anyone who has been impacted by sexual violence. Whether the caller is reaching out for support in the moment, wanting to help a friend or family member or just needs information, the Helpline is here for them.”
