30th Anniversary Take Back the Night!

When: Thursday, October 18th, 2007– 4:30-8:30pm

Where: East Liberty Presbyterian Church (Whitfield St. side)

Who: Hosted by PAAR; partnering agencies

What: Rally, Information Tables, Arts & Crafts,
Live Music, Vocal and Spoken Word Performances,         Survivor Speak Out, & Candlelight Vigil

In case of rain, the Take Back the Night event will be held indoors in the East Liberty Presbyterian Church Social Hall.  The Social Hall can be accessed from the Whitfield Street side of the building.

High School Awareness Week: 
Advocacy letters, the arm band project, classroom presentations, and the Clothesline Project.  A prototype of this awareness week is available through PAAR.

Parking for the Take Back the Night event is available off S. Beatty Street, one block west of the Church between Penn Avenue and Baum Boulevard.  There is also metered street parking available throughout East Liberty, as well as parking behind the East Liberty Carnegie Library branch that can be accessed from S. Beatty Street.  The Home Depot parking lot can be accessed at the corner of N. Highland Avenue and Penn Circle North.
