With Your Friends & Family
  • Learn how to say what you feel—use open and honest communication
  • Get consent for any and all sexual activity
  • Teach your children about boundaries and safety
  • Speak out against gender stereotypes and promote equality
  • Stick together—make sure everyone gets home safely
  • Challenge others who blame the victim —here are some things you can say: "It’s never the victim’s fault," "No one asks to be raped," "It doesn’t matter what you wear, where you went, or what you did."

At Work
  • Challenge sexist jokes, rumors, comments, and emails
  • Promote a safe and respectful workplace
  • Believe and support co-workers experiencing sexual harassment
  • Talk to your supervisor about safety—is there proper lighting in the parking lot, is there a buddy system to walk cars at night, is the building secure
